G+15 mixed use apartment

The apartment building has a unique layout that enables the creation of a high-quality iconic building of distinctive architectural character, together with inviting access corridor and open space sequence. By manipulating the spaces between functional units, the building acquired versatile programs hosted in every space to meet all their purposes.

G+12 Apartment

Description_ The objective of this project is to revitalize the community with a vibrant and thriving center while contributing positively to economic and environmental sustainability. The apartment layout establishes the way rooms of different functions are arranged and located, as well as the circulation between rooms and the degree of privacy for each room.

G+7 mixed use Apartment

The architecture of this project is conceived as simple forms in a harmonious relation with both the urban framework and the contextual environment. The use of integrated functional units with flexible design provided a more comfortable living and longer life span. The location and proportion of openings are designed in consideration for the overall facade composition to add architectural interest enhanced by finely detailed patterns and elemental ordering principles.

G+12 Apartment building

The apartment building has a moderately compact layout that enables to meet the goals for space utilization as the purpose of architecture. The programming effort focuses on quantitative calculations using space standards to provide with effectively organized program arrangement, and building system to support each alterable spatial properties. On the other hand the qualitative aspects has been dealt with various methodology summing up to the entirety piece by piece, by making use of the grid as a system to harmonize the direction of forms and the proportion of massing elements.

King Nejashi Islamic Center

The architectural mass design for the KNIC worship center is developed by characterizing symbolic expression of the crown which generates a  dialog referencing the encounter between King Nejashi and the 16 SEHABAS(desciples) who first migrated to his land, thus indicating the arrival of Islam to Ethiopia before any other country. Islamic pattern is used on the facade of the museum which extends to the hallway rooftop skylight along the main entrance creating access for the Islamic center via a promenade hallway.
